Hello TurkHackTeam Family
What is Chromium?todayI'm going to talk about it.

Chromium is an open source web browser that was first broadcast by the Chromium Project in 2008.

Differences Chromium and Chrome
Google's web browser Chrome is built on Chromium's open source code, so its skeletons are common!

That's why Chrome has some extra features, such as automatic updating, browser data monitoring, and local support for Flash.

Anyone wishing can change or update Chromium's source code, or even add their own code.

Differences Chrome and Chromium

Updates: Chromium is updated frequently because developers constantly change the source code. You must update the browser manually because it will not be updated on its own. But for those who don't like updates, this may be good news!

Chrome, on the other hand, is automatically updated. However, it is not updated as often as Chromium.

Privacy Concern: Chrome is very easy to use, but With Chrome, Google will monitor your information. Chromium wouldn't do that!

Codec (code and decoding combination); is a computer program that converts between analog and digital audio by compressing and narrowing large file formats. Because music and video files are so large, these files are used on platforms like Netflix to encode, shrink, and then view them. Chrome has built-in media codeks (such as AAC, H.264, and MP3). However, for Chromium, you must manually install these codecs.

Extension – Add-on: To download an extension in Chrome, you can only do so from the Google Play Store (on Mac and Windows). Google disables extensions that are not available in the Chrome Web Store. If you're using Chromium, you can get the extensions you want.

Virtual Space Security Mode (Security Sandbox Mode): Browser when using add-ons in Chrome; limits functions only so that you can perform the function you downloaded. However, Chromium does not always activate this mode.

What is Chromium Virus?
While Chromium is a legal browser, being open source has made it a target for those who want to spread viruses.

The Chromium virus is a malicious web browser created using the Chromium code.

It can overwrite a Chrome browser and replace original shortcuts with fake ones!

You can change the search engine default in your browser to guide fake sponsored search results, and also control your apps, themes, and extensions.

How does chromium virus be transmitted?
Chromium virus;
A fake warning that prompts you to update your software or web browser after visiting a malicious website;
Secretly packaged free distribution or downloading shareware programs;
You can settle into your system in ways such as a malicious e-mail attachment.

Symptoms of Chromium Virus on your computer
If your browser's default homepage is different,

If the search portal page is changed when the "new tab" is selected,

If your web browsing experience is filled with irrelevant search results,

If there is an increase in ads,

If your computer has slowed down and cpu usage is high,
