In this article, i'm going to explain the benefits and losses of formatting.
First of all, let's start with benefits.
-BENEFITS-
Why do we format? To relax the computer and delete all hidden virus if there is any, right? Besides that; it is good for virtual memory, too. As you know virtual memory is a memory type that takes everything you do while your computer is open. For example; when you run a game, that game's file goes to virtual memory first. After than, displays on screen. If it didn't go to virtual memory; the histories, files etc. of these applications will be collected in our disk. And that disk gets full. When we shutdown the computer, virtutal memory is reset. Let me explain that why i tell that all stuff. If the computer had not been formatted for a long time, virtual memory will run lots of applications in the background as soon as computer opens. And in this case our disk can be damaged .

When computer is formatted, naturally get fast. But keep formatting perpetually is harmful. Here is why?
When it formatted, C and D drives are reset. This files delete as speed formatting. Our disk run in extreme speed and this causes data loss. Even if just drop because of data loss, our disk size decreases. This instance makes it more understandable.
Keep writing and erasing on a paper. Keep doing that so much, makes that paper is nonutilizable.
For this reason, format the computers at sequential time intervals. Normally everyone says "format the computers every four months''. But someone still has trouble because of that neither computer users tucker out the computer so much or they didn't take measure about system security. So you can scale down this time to 1-2 months. But it would be better for your computer as long as you can. But that doesn't mean that; even if there is so much virus in computer dreadfully, don't even touch it along four month. Unless it's really necessary, keep away from formatting the computer in every single tiny problems.
