It was reported that the official website of the British Royal Family was targeted in a cyber attack.

According to news in the country's press, a source from the royal family disclosed that the website had fallen victim to a cyber attack.

Due to the cyber attack, the page was inaccessible for approximately one and a half hours, but access was restored in the afternoon.

The source, stating that it is unknown who is responsible for the attack, emphasized that it was not computer hacking and that there was no unauthorized access to the website's systems or content.

The Russian hacker group "Killnet" claimed responsibility for the DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attack on the royal family's website.

On April 19, Deputy Prime Minister of the UK, Oliver Dowden, had warned about Russia-linked hacker groups' plans for cyber attacks on businesses in the UK.
