What is Hackintosh?
A Hackintosh is a computer that runs an Apple Macintosh operating system ("macOS" or "OS X") on computer hardware not authorized for the purpose by Apple.
There are several ways to install macOS on a Windows operating system. Read carefully and choose what you need.
You can use all the features of OS X directly, all computer resources will focus on the selected operating system. OS X will be used optionally. After starting the computer, you can choose the system. (Linux, Windows or OS)
We need software and distributions to do this with Virtual machine. The method allows you to work with several operating systems at the same time. You can manage available system resources. Anyway, we need a distribution kit to install the operating system.
If you want to install OS X as a primary or secondary operating system, you need to create a bootable USB Flash or you can use macOS Driver.
Create a Bootable USB for OS X
Follow these steps to create a bootable usb:
Download and install Bootdisk Utility. I will use Bootdisk Utility but you can choose another software.
Choose the OS X distribution that you want to install on your computer. Be careful, use official websites. Some distributions can be downloaded via Torrent.
You will need at least 8gb of memory capacity.
If you will not create a bootable USB, this process will not work. I will explain with more detail
Run the Bootdisk Utility and select "Configuration"
Find the "Boot Partition Size(MB)" and "DL" lines and check them. Save it and click OK
Tools > FixDSDT Calculator for Clover
After that click on the "default" button to use the default settings.
plug the USB into the USB port on your computer. It will appear. Click the Format button if you want to completely delete the information from the USB, but be careful!
After that, download the distribution kit to the USB. The process may vary depending on the type of operationg system you choose (El Capitan, Yosemite, Mavericks, Mountain Lion)
Select the desired Flash drive from the program and click the + to access the partitions. Select "Partition2" and click "Partition Restore" then specify the path to the macOS distribution.
Installation
Start your computer with the bootable USB and follow these steps to start the installation:
Change the priority of installing devices from HDD to USB. A screen will appear with the Clover interface. Go to Options section and find the Boot Args parameter and press the Enter key. It adds "kext-dev-mode = 1" "-v". After that return to the previous screen.
Click on "Launch macOS X" and click the "Utilities" menu at the top of the screen and select "Disk Utility".
Specify the drive that you want to install and format via HFS + file system.
On the "Install OS X" screen, click on the Continue button.
And you should wait for the installation.
Depending on the computer and other features of the operating system, This should take no more than 20 minutes.
