In Kiev , on the eve of his birthday, Russian journalist was found dead
Alexander Shchetinin, the founder of the " New Religion" , was found shot in his head with a suiside note nearby. On the night of August 27-th to 28-th Alexandr Shchetinin, a Russian journalist, was found dead in his apartment on Konstantinovsakya Street in Kiev. According to 112 Ukraine , the death of the journalis was confirmed by the metropolitan police.
Alexandr Shchetinin was found by a group of his friends who came by his apartment to congratulate him on his birthday. He was found sitting in his chair with a gunshot wound to his head; the gun was found laying under the chair. When the investigative team arrived at the scene, a man was found on the balcony with a gunshot wound to the head. According to the preliminary findings by the medical examiner, the death most likely occurred between 20:00 to 21:30 , a representative of the Kiev's Police Oksana Blishik posted on her Facebook page.Upon the examination of the scene, the law enforcement officers seized a spent bullet sleeve , a gun , ammunition and a suicide note . The apartment doors were closed , the house appeared to be not broken in. According to the media reports, Schetinin sent an e-mail , stating his intention to commit suicide, to one person who he was close to.
