Solucan Nedir?
Solucan virüsü, yayıldığı ağda ve cihazlarda kendini kopyalayarak sürekli olarak çoğaltan bir virüstür. Kendini kopyalamak ve çoğaltmak için kullanıcı hareketlerine yada müdahalesine ihtiyaç duymaz. Solucan virüsleri bağımsız olarak çalışırlar, doğrudan hedef sistemin işleyişini hedef alırlar ve ağ bağlantısı gibi diğer cihazlara bağlantı kurulan yerlerden kendilerini yayarlar.Solucanların birden çok türü vardır. En bilindik 3 türü aşağıda bulunmaktadır.
Ağ Solucanları: Ağ üzerinden yayılır ve diğer bilgisayarları etkiler.
E-posta Solucanları: E-posta ekleri aracılığıyla yayılır. Kullanıcılar e-postadaki eki açtığında solucan etkin hale gelir.
Dosya Solucanları: Paylaşılan dosyalar aracılığıyla yayılır ve sistemdeki diğer dosyalara bulaşır.
Seni Seviyorum Virüsü Nasıl Ortaya Çıktı?
Bu virüs Filipinlerde, Onel de Guzman ve Reonel Ramones tarafından yapıldı. Yapımında internetten buldukları başka kötü niyetli yazılımların kodlarını kullandılar, onları birleştirdiler.

Bu Virüsün İşleyiş Mantığı Nedir?
Anonim olarak gözüken bir kaynaktan mailinize "Seni Seviyorum" başlığında bir mail geliyordu. Mailde ise "Sana attığım aşk mektubunu okumanı istiyorum." yazıyordu ve maile ek olarak .vbs türünde bir dosya geliyordu. Bu dosyamız ise virüsün ta kendisi.
İnsanlar Bu Virüse Nasıl Kandılar? Dosyayı Neden Açtılar?
Az önce virüsün ".vbs" uzantısı ile geldiğinden bahsetmiştim. E peki insanlar o zamanlarda metin dosyası uzantısının .txt olduğunu bilmiyor muydu? Tabikide biliyorlardı. Ancak, Windows'un o zamanlarda yayınladığı bir özellik sayesinde dosya uzantıları varsayılan olarak gizleniyordu ve bu özellik aslında kullanıcı rahatlığı için yayınlanmıştı ama virüsün yayılmasına neden oldu. Çünkü gelen dosyanın adı "LOVE-LETTER-FOR-YOU.txt.vbs" olarak geliyordu. Ortalama bir Windows kullanıcısı iseniz indirdiğiniz dosyanın uzantısı .txt olarak gözüktüğü için sizde bunu bir metin belgesi sanıp açacaktınız, ki kurbanlarında başına aynen bu geldi.

Virüsümüzün yapımcıları olan Onel de Guzman ve Reonel Ramones tutuklanarak Filipinler Ulusal Araştırma Bürosu tarafından soruşturuldu. Birçok şirketin batmanın eşiğine gelmesine neden olduğu veya direkt olarak batmasına neden olduğu halde o zamanlarda yapılan bu işlemin (zararlı yazılım üretmek) resmi bir cezası olmadığı için kendileri de ceza almadılar.
