With Sun Valley 2 (version 22H2), tabs are finally coming to the paperwork Explorer.
This innovation will enhance the daily user experience and it will be much easier to switch between Windows.
In addition to the tabs, the document Explorer also receives a new sidebar.
On the other hand, it has been observed that the use of RAM together has decreased. For example, when you open a new tab in Document Explorer, the memory usage of the document Explorer process will increase in very small sizes. In its old form, there was higher resource consumption. If you're working on Windows with too many Windows, or if you have that habit, the tab stop will be very useful. You can also reduce resource usage by opening the tabs.
The update gradually reaches the test users. On the other hand, we expect Microsoft to make different touches to improve Document Explorer performance. Best of all, when it's available in the fall, everyone will be able to quickly use it with Windows 11 22H2
As you can see in the screen image above, it will be easier to navigate to the directories
you use most when refreshing the sidebar in the window.
At this point, quick access to fixed and frequently used folders as well as OneDrive cloud profiles built into Windows will be possible.
